Ywam Ragusa Missions and Outreach Center

In the heart of Ragusa, Italy, a once-forgotten building is being transformed into a vibrant community center—a place of hope and belonging for refugees and asylum seekers rebuilding their lives. This center will offer language classes, job training, children’s programs, and a welcoming space where people from every nation can gather, share meals, and find community. By giving toward this renovation, you’re helping create more than just a building—you’re helping build a home for healing, connection, and new beginnings.

Phase 1

We are renovating each floor as we go. Phase 1 was the top floor, a new roof to allow the floors below to dry out as we prepare to renovate from the top down. Phase 1 completes a finished terrace for relaxation and small gatherings, plus two storage rooms for ministry supplies.

Phase 2

We are currently in the process of completing Phase 2 of the renovations. For this floor we will not be contracting out the finishing work, like the tile laying and painting because we plan to do that ourselves. The second floor consists of three bedrooms for short-term guests, a cozy coffee corner, a media room/office, and a seminar room for training and meetings.

Phase 3

Like Phase 2, we will be handling the finishing work. This floor will have three bedrooms offering temporary housing in a safe, supportive environment for women (not a shelter). Includes a workshop/lab space, kitchen, and small office for ministry and practical activities.
